Field Service Technician – Power

About the role

Join Schneider Electric as a Field Service Technician – Power, responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and regulatory compliance of low‑ and high‑voltage electrical installations across Belgium. You will work directly on customer sites, delivering high‑quality service while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee site safety before every intervention.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low‑ and high‑voltage electrical systems.
• Modernise and upgrade equipment to meet current standards.
• Install, commission and test electrical equipment, including adjustments, inspections and fault diagnostics.
• Analyse technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Produce clear, detailed intervention reports.
• Support administrative follow‑up and keep the installed base up‑to‑date.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Formal training in electromechanics or electricity (minimum A2 level).
• Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial electrical installations.
• Fluent in French and Dutch; English is a plus.
• Proficient with digital tools.
• Valid driving licence B (BE and VCA certification are assets).
• Autonomous, rigorous and solution‑oriented.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility for occasional out‑of‑hours interventions.
• Mobility within Belgium and availability for rare international trips (≈5%).
