F&B Team Member – Part‑time (Student/Flexi)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic part‑time F&B team members to join Historic Hotels Belgium in Ghent. The role is ideal for students or flexi workers who want to gain experience across breakfast service, bar, kitchen and front‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring hot and cold items are ready.
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming breakfast area throughout service.
• Welcome guests, clear tables and support service during breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Wash dishes, keep the kitchen tidy and assist with mise en place for the next day.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Flexibly cover shifts in other departments such as bar, wait service, kitchen assistance or cooking when needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and guest‑oriented.
• Positive attitude, team player and able to work independently during busy periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Basic kitchen equipment handling.
• English language proficiency.
