Family Medicine Physician – Full‑time, Northern Michigan

About the role

Join a mission‑driven, federally qualified health center in beautiful Northern Michigan, providing comprehensive, integrated outpatient care to families across Antrim and Charlevoix Counties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Develop individualized care plans, perform physical examinations, and coordinate specialty referrals.
• Collaborate daily with nurses, behavioral health providers, pharmacists, and care managers.
• Document care using the NextGen electronic medical record system.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, care coordination, and student teaching/mentoring.
• Support the nonprofit’s community‑health mission.

Required profile

• MD or DO with board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan.
• Strong commitment to rural health and improving access to care.
• Experience in community health, FQHCs, or integrated care is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NextGen EMR.
