EU Public Affairs Consultant – Digital Policy

About the role

Political Intelligence Brussels is looking for an experienced Public Affairs Consultant to support clients operating in the EU digital policy arena. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping organisations navigate complex regulatory environments across telecom, connectivity and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify policy opportunities and threats relevant to client portfolios.
• Provide strategic advice on ongoing digital policy developments.
• Monitor and analyse political initiatives, drafting concise policy briefs.
• Engage with key decision‑makers and stakeholders across the EU.
• Design and implement tailored Public Affairs strategies in the connectivity field.
• Maintain professional client relationships with proactive insight.
• Support new‑business development by contributing to pitches and identifying growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Excellent English; additional EU languages are a plus.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in consultancy, public affairs, government or a related field.
• Strong understanding of EU decision‑making processes in digital policy.
• University‑level Master’s degree in Political Science, Law or a related discipline.
• Analytical ability to interpret complex policy documents and research reports.
• Assertiveness, flexibility and capacity to work autonomously.
