Engineer II – End-User Computing

About the role

The Engineer II – End-User Computing joins Energizer’s Global IT team to deliver reliable desktop, laptop, printer and mobile device services to business users. Based onsite in Tessenderlo, Belgium, the role focuses on rapid issue resolution, asset management and support for VIP users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person, phone and electronic technical assistance for PCs, Macs, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Log all interactions and maintain communication records in the global ticketing system.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues following EUC best practices.
• Install, configure and update approved software according to Energizer guidelines.
• Offer Smarthands support for network and server teams, including onsite maintenance, backup and recovery.
• Escalate urgent situations using on‑call lists and team leadership.
• Deliver white‑glove support for VIP users and conduct PC user training.
• Manage on‑site IT assets, inventory, disposal and coordinate purchases for peripherals.
• Participate in rotational standby support and after‑hours site visits when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑user computing support within a corporate environment.
• Ability to triage, track and resolve incidents through a ticketing system.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with business users and IT teams.
• Willingness to work onsite and provide after‑hours support as needed.
