Employment Lawyer (Associate)

About the role

Strelia is looking for a dynamic Associate to join its Employment & Benefits practice in Brussels. You will work on complex, high‑stakes Belgian and cross‑border employment matters, supporting both the firm’s clients and its growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Belgian and cross‑border employment and benefits cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft and review contracts, policies, pleadings and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic advice to corporate clients on employment law issues.
• Contribute to business development and client outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and other practice areas to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in employment and benefits law at a business law firm.
• Master’s degree in law from a Belgian university with strong academic results; an LL.M. in Social Law is a strong plus.
• Native‑level proficiency in Dutch or French, excellent command of English, and good knowledge of the other national language.
