Employment Associate – Law Firm

About the role

Join MVVP, a leading Brussels‑based law firm, as an Employment Associate. You will work on a variety of employment and social security matters for a diverse client base, ranging from start‑ups to multinational corporations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft opinions, contracts, and procedural documents.
• Provide advice on Belgian and European employment and social security law.
• Contribute to articles, books, and thought‑leadership publications.
• Deliver internal and client‑focused training sessions.
• Represent clients in negotiations and, when required, legal proceedings.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Maintain direct client contact and manage files autonomously from day one.

Required profile

• Lawyer with 1–3 years of experience in employment law (senior candidates also welcome).
• Background as trainee, associate, in‑house HR counsel, or legal consultant.
• Trilingual in English, Dutch, and French.
• Available to work on‑site in Brussels, full‑time or part‑time.
• Additional exposure to social security law or litigation is a plus.
