Electro-Mechanical Technician / Process Operator

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Electro‑Mechanical Technician who will support the startup, operation, monitoring and maintenance of an industrial processing installation. The position combines process operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and administrative reporting within a shift‑based production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the startup and commissioning of new industrial process installations.
• Monitor and operate process equipment and automated production systems.
• Perform routine inspections, sampling, measurements and adjust process parameters.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities on equipment and installations.
• Monitor process trends and intervene when operational deviations occur.
• Complete operational documentation, reports and administrative follow‑up tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimise plant performance.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of electromechanics and industrial electricity.
• Experience operating and monitoring industrial production or process installations.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and digital reporting tools.
• Experience working in a shift‑based environment (preferred).
• Valid BA4 or BA5 electrical safety certification.
• Compliance with industrial safety regulations and procedures.
