EHS Manager

About the role

Lear For You is looking for an EHS Manager in Feignies. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you will lead health, safety and environmental activities across the site, help build a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the plant.
• Advise and support managers, supervisors and team leaders on EHS compliance and best practices.
• Manage the reporting and analysis of health, safety, energy and sustainability performance data.
• Conduct accident, incident and near-miss investigations and drive timely corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain and improve risk assessment programmes and safe systems of work.
• Manage ISO 14001 compliance and support ISO 45001 certification, including internal audits.
• Coordinate safety inspections, audits, training programmes and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with machinery safety, contractor management, permit-to-work processes and statutory inspection requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in health, safety and environmental management within a manufacturing environment.
• Nationally recognised Health and Safety qualification required; NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience maintaining ISO 14001 systems and supporting ISO 45001 implementation and auditing.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Stormwater management, hazard communication (HazCom) and occupational hygiene.
• Environmental science, biology, chemistry and environmental engineering knowledge.
• Safety training and environmental permitting.
• Knowledge of the ISO 14000 series.
• Strong communication, training delivery, organisational and Microsoft Office skills.
