Early‑Career Software Engineer – Visualization Platforms

About the role

Join Barco Control Rooms as an early‑career software engineer and help shape the visual backbone of mission‑critical environments such as transport control rooms, utilities, and security operations. You will work on high‑performance visualization platforms that enable operators to monitor, analyse, and act on complex data streams in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain dynamic web UI components, integrating them with server‑side logic.
• Develop and sustain robust backend services that are fast, reliable, and scalable.
• Write reusable, efficient code and create automated tests to uphold high quality standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, managers, and fellow developers to deliver new features and improve existing products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Multimedia & Communication Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in both front‑end and back‑end development.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, stay updated with industry trends, and provide insightful design and code reviews.
• Fluent spoken and written English and a collaborative team mindset.
