Digital Workplace Architect – Secure Cloud Workplace

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Workplace Architect to lead the design and evolution of a secure, scalable, and modern workplace ecosystem for a leading financial institution. You will shape the cloud‑first strategy and ensure compliance with strict regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and design Digital Workplace architecture aligned with security and compliance standards.
• Create infrastructure and application designs for modern workplace environments.
• Produce architectural diagrams and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Contribute to the Digital Workplace roadmap and cloud‑first strategy.
• Support implementation of Cloud PC, Modern Workplace, endpoint management, and collaboration solutions.
• Ensure alignment with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and vendor teams.
• Provide architectural governance and technical guidance to implementation teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the workplace ecosystem.
• Participate in migration and modernization projects toward cloud‑based workplace solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or Digital Workplace environments.
• Proven experience as a Digital Workplace Architect or similar role.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
• Team‑oriented mindset with leadership and facilitation abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot).
• Azure technologies (Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Intune, Conditional Access, hybrid environments).
• Endpoint security, Zero Trust, and passwordless authentication.
• Networking concepts (VPN, VLAN, NAC, endpoints, zoning).
• Automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell.
