DevOps/Platform Patch Engineer

About the role

You will join a leading financial services client to automate and improve patch management across Windows, Linux and cloud platforms in a highly secure banking environment. The role focuses on end‑to‑end patch lifecycle ownership and close collaboration with infrastructure, security and platform teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete patch management lifecycle, from planning to deployment and verification.
• Automate patch deployment using PowerShell scripts and modern DevOps tooling.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that drive patch automation.
• Support vulnerability remediation and ensure security compliance across systems.
• Work with Windows Server, Linux, Azure and enterprise applications to deliver consistent patching.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security and Platform teams to align patching with broader initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise patch management.
• Strong background in automating operational tasks.
• Ability to work in a regulated, security‑focused environment.
