DevOps Engineer

About the role

Lighthouse is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑growing engineering team in Ghent. You will work on a cutting‑edge AI platform for the hospitality industry, turning massive hotel data into real‑time actionable intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Automate deployment, operation, and monitoring of applications using GitOps principles.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows for over 150 engineers.
• Own cloud infrastructure, handling setup, maintenance, scaling, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Research, experiment with, and implement new technologies to evolve the tech stack.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure strict compliance across services and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and tooling for platform reliability and performance.
• Provide expert support and guidance to peers and other engineering teams.

Required profile

• Passionate about problem solving, scalable cloud engineering, automation, micro‑services, and data architectures.
• Experience handling complex data transformations and large data streams in real time.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, AI‑driven environment and deliver high‑quality results.
