Design Architect

About the role

Studio Farris Architects, a rapidly growing international design practice based in Antwerp, is seeking a Design Architect to join its expanding team. You will work on high‑profile, large‑scale projects across Europe and beyond, shaping concepts from the earliest ideas through competition and proposal stages.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to conceptual and schematic design of large‑scale international projects.
• Develop advanced 3D models and parametric workflows using Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Create presentations, diagrams, visualisations and design narratives.
• Explore innovative architectural concepts and translate them into feasible solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Support the studio’s design culture and creative ambitions.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience on large‑scale, complex or international projects.
• Experience in a renowned international design practice is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Rhino.
• Strong Grasshopper skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Familiarity with rendering software (a plus).
