Data Scientist

About the role

XTEL is seeking a Data Scientist to design and deliver analytics and machine‑learning solutions for its revenue‑management suite. You will work with complex data sets, build tailored models, and help create scalable data pipelines while collaborating with technical, functional, product, and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and preprocess complex data from multiple sources.
• Develop, implement, and fine‑tune machine‑learning models for specific projects.
• Collaborate with the team to build robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Participate in client meetings to present technical results and gather feedback.
• Work closely with functional experts and project managers.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
• Integrate developed solutions into XTEL products with the product team.
• Document processes and contribute to the standardisation of analytics solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• 3‑6 years of professional experience in data science and analytics.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and operations research.
• Proficiency in English and ability to communicate complex results clearly.
• Critical thinking, strong analytical skills, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
