Data Scientist

About the role

You will join an innovative health‑tech company as a Data Scientist, applying machine learning and advanced analytics to create data‑driven solutions that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models for applications such as patient risk stratification, disease progression, hospital readmission analysis, clinical decision support, patient segmentation, and resource forecasting.
• Design and implement feature‑engineering and data‑preprocessing pipelines for clinical, operational, patient‑generated, EHR and time‑series data.
• Apply statistical techniques and machine‑learning algorithms to solve complex healthcare challenges and support evidence‑based decisions.
• Build, validate, and evaluate models using appropriate performance metrics, validation methods and experimentation frameworks.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn and XGBoost.
• Proven experience developing predictive models and conducting statistical analysis.
• Solid understanding of data preparation, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in SQL and handling large‑scale datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus.
