About the role

Sailpeak, a Brussels‑based consulting firm specialized in Banking & Insurance digital transformation, is looking for a Data Scientist with 1‑3 years of experience. You will support top‑tier banking clients by delivering data‑driven projects that enhance digital strategy, performance, and AI adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, cleanse, and transform data from banking and fintech sources to ensure high‑quality inputs for analytics.
• Contribute to machine‑learning and deep‑learning projects, building models and intelligent agents for financial services.
• Support the design and execution of AI‑powered digital campaigns and strategies for banking clients.
• Conduct A/B testing, hypothesis validation, and performance analysis of digital initiatives.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards, visualisations, and reports to monitor key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams to optimise segmentation, targeting and personalisation using predictive analytics.
• Interpret data and tell stories that translate insights into actionable recommendations for digital transformation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Banking, Digital Transformation or a related field.
• Strong eagerness to work with data, AI and machine‑learning models in the financial sector.
• Fluency in English and French or Dutch.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools.
