Data Center Technician – Day Shift (Brussels)

About the role

CBRE is seeking a motivated Data Center Technician for day‑shift work at its Brussels facility. You will support the reliability and safety of critical client environments by performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical, engineering and IT equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of mechanical, engineering systems and technical equipment.
• Monitor Building Management System (BMS) alarms and execute emergency repairs.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all assets.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDUs and utilities, and document findings.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Report subcontractor performance issues and follow safety and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Technical training or apprenticeship with 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work day shifts, including occasional weekends or holidays.
• Good oral and written communication in Dutch or French plus English.
• Physical capability to meet the role’s demands.
• Basic math skills for simple calculations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
