Data Analyst – Reporting (Freelance, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to strengthen our reporting team and support a high‑priority data project. The role bridges business and data teams, turning requirements into data‑driven insights and reporting solutions. The position is full‑time, hybrid, with onsite days on Wednesday and Thursday in the Mechelen region.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of ongoing reporting work and ensure timely delivery.
• Translate business requirements into technical data definitions.
• Extract, manipulate and analyse data using SQL.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Deliver end‑to‑end reporting solutions from analysis to query to dashboard.
• Collaborate with business, operations and data teams.
• Present insights to stakeholders when needed.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL (critical).
• Experience with reporting tools and dashboarding.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
