Data Analyst – Contract (6 months) in Mechelen

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions and ETL processes for our business reporting and analytics needs. The role involves working with databases, data pipelines, and visualisation tools to deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data flows using Python, Java, or Scala.
• Work with Databricks to build and optimise data pipelines.
• Create and enhance dashboards and visualisations, primarily with Power BI and DAX.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and improve data quality.
• Support ongoing data modelling and governance activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Data Analyst.
• Demonstrable experience with Databricks.
• 3+ years of experience in dashboarding and data visualisation.
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI and DAX.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL processes.
