Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Cream Consulting, you will protect business‑critical systems and data for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecom, energy and transport. Working closely with IT and security teams, you will help maintain a strong security posture across client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools.
• Analyse logs and investigate potential security incidents.
• Identify, assess and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation actions.
• Contribute to incident response activities and post‑incident analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and OWASP.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to improve security controls.
• Support continuous improvement of monitoring and detection capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and incident investigation skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of network security, IAM, vulnerability assessment and threat detection.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell or similar) – optional.
