Cybersecurity Analyst – Consulting

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Cream Consulting, you will protect business‑critical systems and data for large organisations in sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Energy and Transport. You will work within a collaborative consulting environment, detecting, analysing and responding to cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools.
• Analyse logs and investigate potential security incidents.
• Identify, assess and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation actions.
• Contribute to incident response activities and post‑incident analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, etc.).
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure and application teams to improve security controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell or similar) is advantageous.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of network security, IAM and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and OWASP.
• Ability to analyse logs and conduct threat detection.
