Cyber Threat Investigator

About the role

As a Cyber Threat Investigator at itsme®, you will enhance the organisation’s security posture by gathering, analysing and contextualising cyber‑threat information that impacts the digital identity ecosystem. You will work closely with the Security Operations Centre and other security teams to turn intelligence into actionable insights for detection, prevention and response.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor open‑source, commercial and partner threat feeds for relevant information.
• Analyse threat reports, adversary campaigns, vulnerabilities and emerging attack trends, assessing business impact.
• Track threat actors, map their tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Validate and manage technical threat intelligence, including indicators of compromise (IOCs) and detection data.
• Operate and maintain threat‑intelligence platforms such as MISP or OpenCTI.
• Contribute to and maintain the company’s cyber‑threat intelligence knowledge base.
• Produce concise threat‑intelligence outputs (alerts, assessments, briefs, landscape reports) for technical, operational and management audiences.
• Collaborate with the SOC and other security professionals to support incident response, threat hunting and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in information security or cyber‑threat intelligence.
• Strong understanding of cyber‑security concepts, attack techniques and defensive measures.
• Good knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary TTP analysis.
