Customer Service Representative

About the role

As a Customer Service Representative at deSter, you will be the primary point of contact for customers across the foodservice and airline packaging sectors. You will work closely with the Belgian office and international teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery coordination, and product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times, handling inquiries and issues.
• Process and follow up sales orders from entry to delivery.
• Manage forecasts, demand planning, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Handle complaints and resolve them in agreement with the sales team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, including new developments.
• Offer general support to the sales team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in an international B2B environment.
• Familiarity with logistics, Incoterms, and customs procedures is a plus.
• Positive mindset, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
