Customer Engagement Specialist

About the role

POLITICO's premium B2B policy solutions service is looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist to support its subscribers. The role sits within the Customer Success function but works closely with the Account Management team, focusing on inbound support and outbound engagement to improve product adoption and account health. It is based at POLITICO's Europe headquarters in Brussels.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound requests and technical troubleshooting so that customer issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
• Onboard new customers by guiding them through end-user customization and adoption processes.
• Track customer health scores, usage reports and engagement rates to spot areas for improvement.
• Collect and share customer feedback with internal teams so it can improve product offerings.
• Build and nurture relationships with end users to boost retention and long-term engagement.
• Use research and customer insights to find growth opportunities and recommend them to internal teams.
• Work with internal sales and service partners and cross-functional teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of professional experience in customer success, sales, business development, account management or marketing, including internships and externships.
• B.A./B.S. preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-service ethic.
• English plus French, Spanish, Italian, German or other European languages.
• Experience with or interest in EU policy.
