Culinary Trainee Internship (Kitchen)

About the role

DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels is looking for a passionate and motivated Culinary Trainee for an internship of at least one month, starting in 2026. The trainee works in the hotel's restaurant or Banqueting department, learning from an experienced team in an elegant setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation, including preparing ingredients and setting up workstations.
• Help prepare starters, main courses and desserts under the Chef's supervision.
• Help clean and maintain workstations, kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Support the team in organising each service while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to creating and testing new recipes under the Chef's supervision.
• Make sure every dish leaves the kitchen with an impeccable presentation.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English.
• Enrolled in a hospitality school or a similar programme.
• A genuine passion for cooking.
