Country Head – Belgium

About the role

The Country Head for Belgium will lead Sandoz’s overall business strategy, driving growth across the product portfolio and ensuring maximum patient impact. Reporting to global and regional leaders, this senior executive will shape the country’s commercial performance, culture, and external relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a competitive disease area/asset strategy in partnership with global teams.
• Lead the country/cluster organization, delivering sales, profit and market share targets within budget.
• Set and communicate a clear business vision aligned with global strategy.
• Develop the pipeline and portfolio, overseeing successful product launches and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to joint‑venture, in‑licensing and other strategic partnership decisions.
• Foster an innovation‑focused, customer‑centric culture and build high‑performing teams.
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning and associate development.
• Maintain Sandoz’s reputation, shape the political and legislative environment, and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Proven track record of managing country or regional business units and delivering commercial results.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence across the disease ecosystem.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop talent and nurture a high‑performance culture.
