Cost Controller – Branch Mobile Sales & Business Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to join the Branch Mobile Sales & Business Intelligence tribe within our Daily Banking & Client First team. Working on‑site three days a week in Brussels, you will partner with finance, HR and business stakeholders to monitor expenses, forecast costs and drive optimisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Track monthly actual expenses using Finance and HR data (FTE, inflow/outflow, direct and ICO expenses).
• Forecast workforce and cost evolution and provide monthly updates.
• Prepare and lead recurring DP discussions, consolidating requests and building the narrative.
• Coordinate and optimise the annual cost allocation exercise.
• Manage purchase order (PO) processes and support changes in HR/Finance structures.
• Collaborate with SCLs, Expert Leads, Finance, HR and other internal partners, offering advice on cost optimisation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Cost Controller, Financial Analyst or Auditor, preferably from a Big Four consultancy.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and translate financial data into clear business stories.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current residency in Belgium and ability to work on‑site in Brussels three days a week.
