Coordinator, Industry, Partnerships and Policy Section

About the role
The Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments Division (D2IA) seeks a Coordinator for its Industry, Partnerships and Policy Section. The incumbent will provide comprehensive administrative, financial and organisational support for policy and partnership activities, and act as secretary for the NATO‑Ukraine Council Working Group on Defence Technical Cooperation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and circulate documentation arising from committee meetings and ensure timely follow‑up of actions.
- Coordinate the Section’s contributions to policy and partnership tasks, maintaining electronic filing and intranet pages.
- Manage the Section’s budget procedures, produce financial reports, and handle partnership programme funds.
- Oversee project execution related to partnership programmes, including statistics and fund management.
- Provide secretariat support for the NATO‑Ukraine Council Working Group on Defence Technical Cooperation.
Required profile
- Higher secondary education with at least six years of relevant experience, or a post‑secondary degree with three years of administrative/project‑management experience.
- Proven experience organising conferences or similar events.
- In‑depth knowledge of collaborative software tools, especially Microsoft SharePoint.
- Language proficiency at level V (Advanced) in one NATO official language and level II (Elementary) in the other; fluency in both languages is an advantage.
- Project‑management certification, budget‑planning experience and familiarity with ERP systems are desirable.
