Contracts Manager – Multi‑discipline Design Engineering

About the role

PM Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its Benelux design‑engineering office. The role will support projects in pharma, life sciences, mission‑critical and food & beverage sectors, providing a pathway for career growth within a multinational engineering firm.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safety and health compliance on site, promote safety plans, and conduct weekly safety audits.
• Review contractor method statements, permits, and risk assessments to guarantee safe execution of works.
• Monitor day‑to‑day contractor activities to meet safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation requirements.
• Lead and minute weekly contractor meetings, coordinate 4‑week look‑ahead planning and on‑site “whiteboard” sessions.
• Oversee quality control, conduct inspections, witness tests, and report findings to the QA/QC manager.
• Coordinate with the commissioning team during the turnover phase.
• Manage contract scope, technical documentation, pricing details, and the fabrication/supply/construction programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contracts management within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to interpret and enforce contract documents, method statements, and permits.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with multiple contractors and internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to produce accurate meeting minutes and reports.
