Configuration Manager

About the role

The Configuration Manager will join a small, dynamic team at the Herstal site, reporting to the Design & Configuration team leader. You will work closely with designers, product authorities, quality, purchasing, logistics and production to ensure product data integrity from design through to manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Configuration Management system.
• Ensure consistency of information within the CM system and establish reference baselines.
• Tailor CM processes and tools to guarantee traceability, quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to apply CM requirements and monitor compliance.
• Organise and run the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and manage related administrative tasks.
• Participate in phase reviews (PDR, CDR) and configuration audits (FCA, PCA).

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a configuration management role.
• Experience in Defence, Aerospace or Automotive industries is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, rigorous, well‑organized and able to drive topics to completion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English.
