Communications Officer (Senior) – Global Clean Energy

About the role

The Hydrogen Council is seeking a (Senior) Communications Officer to lead its digital storytelling and shape global conversations around hydrogen as a clean‑energy solution. You will work at the heart of daily communications, enhancing the Council’s online presence and supporting internal engagement across a multinational team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of digital channels, including LinkedIn, the Council website and external newsletters.
• Develop and maintain a structured content calendar aligned with organisational priorities, campaigns, events and industry developments.
• Coordinate publishing schedules, ensure timely delivery of content, and monitor performance metrics.
• Support high‑impact communications campaigns that highlight hydrogen’s role in a secure, resilient energy future.
• Collaborate with global senior leaders, member companies, partners and vendors to produce compelling editorial material.

Required profile

• Digitally savvy, creative and highly organised communications professional.
• Strong editorial instincts and excellent writing skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative international team.

Required skills

• Experience managing LinkedIn, website and newsletter platforms.
• Ability to create and maintain content calendars.
• Familiarity with digital analytics and performance tracking.
