Communication Lead – Temporary (2026)

About the role

We are seeking a Communication Lead to temporarily strengthen the GEMS Business Engagement team in Wilrijk, Belgium. The role supports the global roll‑out of the GEMS program across several product companies and runs until the end of 2026, covering a maternity leave.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain communication plans for the GEMS roll‑out.
• Lead communication meetings with product‑company teams.
• Coordinate and produce monthly newsletters.
• Prepare and distribute communication packs.
• Manage communication around key project milestones.
• Develop specific communication materials such as Sway presentations, videos and surveys.
• Support the GEMS team with company branding knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Proactive coordination and planning abilities.
• Positive energy and willingness to contribute ideas.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfort working across time zones and in a dynamic international environment.
