Cloud Engineer (Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes)

About the role

As a Cloud Engineer at CLdN, you will design, build, and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platform that supports business‑critical applications and data‑driven solutions across the group. You will work across infrastructure, cloud services, container platforms, and deployment pipelines, focusing on automation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain infrastructure as code, primarily using Terraform.
• Deploy, operate and continuously improve workloads on Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes‑based workloads, preferably on OpenShift, in collaboration with external development partners.
• Shape and maintain a secure, standardized cloud platform for application delivery and data workloads.
• Support GitOps‑based deployment practices and manage reusable, environment‑specific configurations.
• Build, optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and improve platform resilience, failure handling and observability.
• Define effective monitoring, dashboards and alerting to provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in a professional setting.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including identity, networking, governance and key management.
• Experience with Kubernetes environments, preferably OpenShift, and troubleshooting containerized workloads.
• Strong background in Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools such as Argo CD and Kustomize.
