About the role
We are looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead the growth of our solar inverter and battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio. The role focuses on building and managing a network of distributors, resellers, and system integrators to expand market share.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for solar inverter/BESS products.
- Identify, recruit, and manage a network of channel partners.
- Provide technical and sales training to partners on our product line.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales approaches.
- Achieve sales targets by managing the sales pipeline effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and materials.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Report regularly on sales performance, market insights, and partner activities.
- Work with product development to relay market feedback and suggest improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar inverter or related solar energy product sales.
- Proven success in developing and managing sales channels.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems and inverter technology.
- Excellent understanding of solar market regulations and incentives.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
