CAD Designer - Electricity

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electricity CAD Designer to support a variety of electrical projects in a multidisciplinary industrial and pharmaceutical environment. You will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining high‑quality electrical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and maintain electrical schematics, layouts and installation drawings using EPLAN, AutoCAD and related tools.
• Manage the electrical CAD database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
• Conduct site surveys and measurements to collect technical information.
• Analyse technical requests, challenge requirements when necessary and propose appropriate solutions.
• Support project execution by delivering accurate, up‑to‑date documentation.
• Participate in technical reviews and coordinate with engineering teams, stakeholders and external design offices.
• Ensure external partners follow internal CAD standards and documentation requirements.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical CAD design within industrial environments.
• Strong autonomy, ability to manage several projects and priorities.
• Experience delivering documentation from concept design through as‑built.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and proactively propose solutions.
• Industrial experience is mandatory; pharmaceutical experience is a strong asset.
• Comfortable working on‑site and performing surveys near electrical installations.
• Fluent in French with professional English proficiency.
