C# Software Developer – Railway Verification & Validation

About the role

Join an international team in Charleroi that builds advanced software tools for verification and validation (V&V) of railway signalling and control systems. You will design, develop, and integrate components that ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software architect to define tool requirements and overall architecture.
• Design and implement software components using C# and Python, set up the development toolchain, and write unit and verification tests.
• Manage configuration and version control of deliverables with Git/GitLab.
• Support software‑to‑software integration and participate in hardware‑software integration phases.
• Build tailored V&V tools for validation teams and promote reuse of internal libraries or COTS solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
• Work closely with colleagues in Charleroi and Bangalore, sharing expertise and best practices.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in C# software development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with test and integration processes.
