Business Unit Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced executive to lead a strategic business unit within a family‑owned industrial group rooted in the Benelux region. The role offers full profit‑and‑loss responsibility and the opportunity to shape the future of the unit.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full P&L ownership for the business unit and lead multi‑site teams.
• Develop and execute a transformation plan based on a comprehensive review of operations, commercial activity, and the customer portfolio.
• Identify and open new commercial avenues while strengthening the B2B market positioning.
• Report directly to the group and collaborate closely with governance bodies and family shareholders.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a CEO, Division Head or General Manager in an industrial or logistics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver transformation programmes, not limited to advisory roles.
• Strong commercial drive combined with full P&L ownership experience.
• Extensive B2B and new‑business development capabilities.
• Leadership of multi‑site operations, with Dutch as primary language and fluent business English and French.
• Connecting leadership style suited to a family‑anchored corporate context.
