Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join a growing team in Liège. The role focuses on designing, building and evolving data pipelines and analytics products that support decision‑making, operational monitoring and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust, domain‑oriented data pipelines from ingestion to consumption.
• Transform complex data sets into actionable insights, KPIs, dashboards and analytical reports for business and executive audiences.
• Implement data quality controls, governance standards and monitoring to ensure reliable, compliant data usage.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver ad‑hoc analyses, monitor business processes and support strategic projects.
• Provide documentation, training and guidance to enable stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Views data pipelines, datasets and dashboards as products with defined users, quality standards and long‑term ownership.
• Focuses on business impact and understands the “why” behind the numbers.
• Comfortable working with SQL and Python (or PySpark) and aware of data modeling and performance considerations.
