About the role

Phinest, a Belgian management consulting firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its key sectors. The role combines commercial strategy, client relationship management, and team leadership within a human‑centered organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute commercial strategy aligned with Phinest’s vision.
  • Manage major accounts in Pharmaceutical, Retail and Public sectors, building long‑term partnerships.
  • Identify and create business opportunities by engaging with key decision‑makers.
  • Understand prospects’ contexts and pain points, propose tailored solutions, negotiate and close contracts.
  • Participate in recruitment, select new talent and oversee career development activities.
  • Lead a team of consultants, develop their skills, and ensure the business unit’s P&L performance.
  • Collaborate with international entities of the Phinest group (d2X) to expand market reach.

Required profile

  • Master’s degree in engineering or business.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development or a similar commercial role.
  • Proven ability to interact confidently with C‑level executives and decision‑makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and goal‑oriented.
  • Strong autonomy, talent identification skills and excellent communication.
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
