About the role
Phinest, a Belgian management consulting firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its key sectors. The role combines commercial strategy, client relationship management, and team leadership within a human‑centered organization.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute commercial strategy aligned with Phinest’s vision.
- Manage major accounts in Pharmaceutical, Retail and Public sectors, building long‑term partnerships.
- Identify and create business opportunities by engaging with key decision‑makers.
- Understand prospects’ contexts and pain points, propose tailored solutions, negotiate and close contracts.
- Participate in recruitment, select new talent and oversee career development activities.
- Lead a team of consultants, develop their skills, and ensure the business unit’s P&L performance.
- Collaborate with international entities of the Phinest group (d2X) to expand market reach.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in engineering or business.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development or a similar commercial role.
- Proven ability to interact confidently with C‑level executives and decision‑makers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and goal‑oriented.
- Strong autonomy, talent identification skills and excellent communication.
- Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
