Business Developer – Innovation Funding Solutions

About the role

Join a fast‑growing international consulting group that helps organisations secure grants, tax credits and other innovation funding. As a Business Developer you will sell tailored funding solutions to CEOs, start‑ups, SMEs and multinational corporations across a range of high‑tech sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new prospects in technology, aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing and engineering.
• Build a robust sales pipeline using networking, LinkedIn outreach, referrals and other business‑development tactics.
• Understand clients' R&D projects to pinpoint funding and optimisation opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signing.
• Develop long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and act as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate closely with consulting teams to deliver customised funding solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Applied Economics, Business Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with professional proficiency in the other national language and English.
• First experience in sales, business development, consulting, recruitment or another client‑facing role.
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and results‑driven attitude.
