Business Developer – Innovation Consulting (up to €65k + uncapped bonus)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Developer to join our fast‑growing innovation consulting group based in Belgium. You will help companies across Europe secure funding for R&D projects, working directly with CEOs, R&D leaders, start‑ups and multinational corporations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new prospects in sectors such as technology, aerospace, healthcare and manufacturing.
• Build a robust pipeline through LinkedIn outreach, networking events, referrals and other business‑development initiatives.
• Analyse clients' innovation and R&D projects to uncover funding opportunities and optimisation needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract negotiation and signing.
• Develop long‑term relationships with decision‑makers and act as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Applied Economics, Business Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with professional proficiency in the other national language and English.
• First experience in sales, business development, consulting or a client‑facing role (young graduates with strong commercial drive are welcome).
