Business Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Business Controller to join our finance team in the Brussels region. Working closely with Finance, Procurement and Operations, you will report to finance leadership and help translate procurement savings into clear P&L impacts while supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, validate and reconcile procurement savings against financial actuals and report on performance versus forecast.
• Run spend analytics across the organisation, identify cost‑reduction opportunities and monitor price trends in key categories.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles and act as the reference point for the financial impact of procurement and operational decisions.
• Partner with Procurement, Operations and Finance to challenge savings assumptions, align project calculations with accounting entries and drive process improvement.
• Lead the digitalisation of reporting, documenting controls and reconciliation procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, controlling or accounting.
• Fluent in English with good knowledge of French or Dutch.
• Experience with ERP systems.
