Business Controller – Benelux (Finance)

About the role

As a Business Controller for the Benelux region, you will work within the Finance department to ensure accurate revenue and expense reporting, support the sales team on trade agreements, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes. You will provide analytical insights to business leaders and help drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare net sales monthly closing and gross margin simulations, and present findings to the Controlling Manager.
• Conduct promotion ROI analysis and propose improvements for the local team.
• Perform customer profitability analysis and present results to Finance and senior leadership.
• Define price lists and on‑invoice discounts, and ensure trade agreements are correctly recorded.
• Support monthly checks and alignment on C&D, marketing, and target bonus calculations.
• Participate in budget and forecast construction with the commercial organization, focusing on trade agreements.
• Assist in Gross‑to‑Net analysis and preparation of the Commercial P&L by product.
• Maintain databases and ensure data integrity in Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, SAP CRM, and SAP BPC.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or Controlling.
• First experience in a controlling department (internship, apprenticeship, etc.).
• Background in FMCG or Retail is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Result‑driven with a balance of pragmatism and detail orientation.
• Fluency in English and French.
