Business Analyst: AI & Innovation (Trilingual)

About the role

eXalt Belgium is seeking a trilingual Business Analyst to drive AI‑focused transformation projects. You will act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical AI teams, turning high‑impact use cases into concrete requirements and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops in English, French and Dutch to identify AI and automation opportunities.
• Map current (As‑Is) processes and design future (To‑Be) AI‑augmented workflows.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and data requirements for AI engineers.
• Collaborate with Data/AI teams to assess feasibility of use cases such as LLMs, predictive analytics and RAG models.
• Support product owners in backlog prioritisation based on business value and technical readiness.
• Define acceptance criteria and lead User Acceptance Testing to ensure AI outputs meet expectations.
• Serve as the communication hub, translating technical concepts for non‑technical leaders.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or Consultant on digitalisation projects.
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch, able to conduct workshops in all three languages.
• Strong interest or prior exposure to AI projects (chatbots, automation, data analytics, GenAI).
• Analytical rigor with proven ability to document complex business rules and data‑driven processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
