Battery Product Engineer – Clean Energy Solutions

About the role

Avesta Holding is looking for a Battery Product Engineer to develop, commission and support high‑performance lithium‑ion battery solutions for commercial and industrial customers. The role combines technical work on cells, modules, racks and containers with direct customer interaction to ensure successful deployment and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer and market needs into concrete project plans aligned with requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Project Management, Thermal and Mechanical teams to ensure timely delivery of battery solutions.
• Conduct rigorous testing of battery cells, modules, racks and containers to meet quality standards before delivery.
• Commission battery systems on‑site and provide comprehensive training to customers.
• Provide ongoing customer support, including troubleshooting and handling new requests.
• Collect and analyse customer and market feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve component‑related issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with battery systems.
• Strong knowledge of BMS/EMS, electrical components and communication protocols such as CAN, ModBus and TCP/IP.
• Hands‑on experience in testing, commissioning and maintenance of battery hardware.
• Proven problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
