Banquet Supervisor – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Holiday Inn Brussels Airport is looking for an enthusiastic and hands‑on Banquet Supervisor to join its Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service during conferences, meetings, private events and banquets, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout each function.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of banquet and meeting events within the hotel.
• Coordinate event set‑ups according to guest requirements and hotel standards.
• Lead, motivate and support the banquet team during service.
• Maintain smooth communication between the kitchen, sales and operational departments.
• Welcome guests, handle requests and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation and compliance with HACCP and safety procedures.
• Support stock management and control of banquet equipment and materials.
• Assist with scheduling and training of banquet team members.
• Ensure all function rooms are properly prepared and maintained before, during and after events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in banqueting or events.
• Supervisory experience within a hotel environment is an asset.
• Strong leadership, organizational and guest‑oriented communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are strong advantages.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of HACCP procedures.
