Back End Developer – Agricultural Management System

About the role

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join the SACHA project – a modular, online agricultural management accounting tool. You will work on the core API, database layer and integration points that enable farmers and authorities to collect, process and analyse agricultural data securely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the Spring Boot API that powers the SACHA platform.
• Implement data import and export modules to connect with external databases and Excel sources.
• Manage PostgreSQL schemas, ensuring multi‑year data, stock movements and allocation logic are robust.
• Collaborate with the Angular front‑end team to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in building an automatic generation framework for tables, views, pages and unit tests.
• Ensure traceability, role‑based access control and GDPR‑compliant security throughout the system.

• Proven experience in backend development within an agile environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a pragmatic, results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
