Audit Academy Associate – Junior Auditor (Industry)

About the role

Join PwC’s Audit Academy as a Junior Auditor in Industry and accelerate your learning curve. In one year you will acquire the expertise that normally takes two, working on diverse, fast‑growing companies while leveraging automated tools and specialised competence centres.

Key responsibilities

• Audit balance sheets and profit & loss accounts, taking ownership of specific accounts such as cash, fixed assets, receivables, payables, inventory, revenue and expenses.
• Identify client risks, including ESG impacts, and contribute to ESG KPI reviews (e.g., emissions, water use, diversity).
• Perform financial and non‑financial analyses requested by clients or regulators.
• Collaborate with experts from IT, valuation, sustainability, tax, actuarial and other departments.
• Use data‑analytics and robotic tools to process large data sets efficiently and develop new analytical solutions.
• Work on‑site at client locations, maintaining frequent client contact and building industry knowledge.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, accountancy, business engineering, civil engineering or a related field with a solid accounting foundation.
• Strong analytical mindset, team‑player attitude and initiative‑taking behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills and client‑orientation.
• Interest in a wide range of industries (retail, pharma, manufacturing, media, logistics, etc.) and basic knowledge of sustainability trends.
