Associate – Real Estate Law (French-speaking)

About the role

ALTIUS, an independent full‑service Belgian law firm, is seeking a French‑speaking associate with at least three years of experience to join its Real Estate Team in Brussels. The role combines transactional and contentious work, covering a wide range of real‑estate matters for large international and Belgian clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, development projects, lease agreements, financing and investment structures.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to real‑estate transactions.
• Represent clients in litigation before relevant courts.
• Handle assignments in related fields such as environmental, planning, energy law and public procurement.

Required profile

• Belgian‑qualified lawyer with a minimum of three years’ experience in real‑estate law.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch proficiency suitable for daily business use.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on approach with excellent legal writing skills.
• Willingness to work on matters in adjacent practice areas.
• Experience or studies abroad considered an asset.
